The FlashForge-CreatorPro 3D printer uses Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) printing technology to create 3D models from different types of filaments, including ABS and PLA. The 3D printer has a build volume of 22.7 L X 14.8 W X 15.0 H cm (8.9 X 5.8 X 5.9 in) and a layer resolution of 100-500 microns (0.0039-0.019 in). These printers are a great introduction to 3D printing applications for students in the Introduction to Materials course, as the FlashForge-CreatorPro is user friendly and relatively inexpensive for a 3D printing platform.
